Formally known as the “Pets In Need Clinic,” The Rhode Island Community Pet Project works to provide high-quality, full-service veterinary care to the pets of low-income Rhode Island residents. We go beyond vaccines and spays/neuters— offering a full array of services to ensure and maintain the health of your pet. We remain one of the only clinics in the Northeast dedicated solely to accessible, affordable veterinary care for low-income members of our community.
Wellness checks allow our staff to examine and determine the best preventative care measures for your pet, putting your pet on the road to health before any problems arise.

Sick Appointments
Dental disease is one of the most common issues we see in our patients, and one that impacts all of the organs in our pets’ bodies. We provide a range of dental services to both prevent, and, if necessary, treat dental disease in your pets.
Dental Cleanings & Procedures
While we often perform reproductive surgeries (spays/neuters), our expert veterinary staff is well-equipped to handle a variety of surgeries on most internal organs.
Soft-Tissue Surgery (Spays/Neuters)
On-site medical imaging, including radiographs (x-rays) and ultrasound, gives us a detailed image of your pet’s internal anatomy, allowing us to determine their unique medical needs.

As a full-service clinic, our team of veterinary experts is dedicated to our mission to provide high-quality, affordable care to the pets of Rhode Island. Our fees are significantly discounted compared to standard, for-profit veterinary clinics.
